Are you open at your farm?

In light of the current Covid19 pandemic, we are no longer open on the farm until further notice. We dislike having to make this decision but deem it necessary for our family, and yours.

How can I purchase your products?

Currently, you may purchase our products on our website which will then be either packed for shipping, or set aside for local pickup or delivery. We only ship to select states at this time.

Will you ship to me outside of Tennessee?

Sorry, but no. We are a very small family farm and we would likely lose our sanity if we tried to uphold every plants shipping rules and regulations of every state. We hope that we will be able to ship to all other states at some point in the future.

Update: We are beginning to add other states to our shipping zones. We will list the states here as we add them and any restrictions we must adhere to for them.

North Carolina:
  • Cannot ship pepper plants or tobacco to North Carolina

How do you pack plants for shipping?

We will try to use recycled material whenever possible (i.e. newspapers, shopping bags, etc). We will remove the plant from it’s container and remove any excess, unnecessary soil from it to save on shipping charges. We will pack your plant gently using plastic bags and/or newspaper and ship first class USPS. Usually you will receive your package the next day or 2nd day. We usually only ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each week so it doesn’t get held up in shipping over an extended period of time before delivery.

I live nearby, but local pickup and/or delivery are not showing on checkout.

Refer to the article above about your specific requirements for either local pickup, or local delivery. Ensure that your zip code is listed in that option. If it isn’t, please contact me at admin@summerfieldherbfarm.com to request your zip code be added.

If I choose local delivery or local pickup, may I pay you COD?

Another Covid19 situation, as currently we are not accepting any form of in person payment upon delivery. For the safety of our family and yours, we insist for the time being that all purchase are online purchased, prepaid orders. We hope to return to accepting COD orders in the near future.

What is “coming soon”?

Any item that has no stock quantity that is still on our catalog is labelled as “coming soon”.  Any item that is out of stock or sold out will be removed from displaying in our catalog. Coming soon means that we have the plants seeded and either haven’t germinated yet or is still to small to be safely transported and planted. If you want to know a rough estimate on when a coming soon product will be available, email us at admin@summerfieldherbfarm.com.
